Lena Mae Traylor
Lena Mae Traylor, 94, of Michigan City, died October 14, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tenn. She was a member of Hardaway MB Church where she served on the mother board.
Services were held at 12 noon on Oct. 23 at Zion Temple Community Church of God in Christ in Grand Junction, Tenn. Pastor James Morgan officiated. Burial was in Hardaway MB Church Cemetery in Michigan City. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves three daughters, Dorothy Mae Bell of Grand Junction, Dorothy Neil Brooks of Memphis, Tenn., Fannie Mae Gibson (Billy) of Bolivar, Tenn.; sons, Odell Traylor (Mary) of Chicago, Ill., Roosevelt Traylor (Hazel), James Traylor Jr. (Cynthia), Johnnie Traylor (Yolanda), Robert Traylor (Elizabeth) and Willie Traylor (Betty); 45 grandchildren, 96 great-grandchildren, and 46 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Traylor; daughter, Rosa Mae Hamer; sons, Mack Traylor, Willie Thomas Traylor; sisters, Louise Jones, Fannie Mae Murden, Idince Davis, Iona Richardson; brothers, Earlie B. McKinnie, Robert McKinnie and Mack Hoyle.
