Lee Stinson Jr.
Lee Stinson Jr., 92, of Byhalia, died May 2, 2025, at his home. He was a member of Mt. Moriah MB Church where he was the oldest deacon in the church. He was in the choir and male chorus and a church trustee. He was retired from C&M Builders in Memphis, Tenn.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 9 from 3-6 p.m. and on May 10 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 11:30-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Rev. Dr. R.J. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah MB Church Cemetery.
He leaves his daughters, Joan Lester, Linda House, Tina Stinson-Lester, Annette Mitchell, all of Holly Springs, Sharon Isom of Olive Branch, Erma Clark of Southaven; sons, Wayne Stinson of Byhalia, Antoine Stinson of Grand Junction, Tenn., Wallace Stinson, Michael Stinson, both of Olive Branch, Rochester Clark, Ivy Clark, both of Aurora, Ill.; brother, Ray Hearn of Holly Springs; 47 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy J. Beard Stinson; daughter, Lynette Stinson; siblings, Willie Stinson, L.C. Stinson, Robert Wright Sr., Freddie Stinson, Felix Stinson, and Nannie Jones Miller.
