Lee Eddie "Chet" Raimey

Lee Eddie "Chet" Raimey, 67, of Lamar, died on February 3, 2023, at his home. He was a member of Kimbrough Chapel MB Church. He was a master barber, worked at several local factories and worked at Advance Construction in Memphis, Tenn.

A memorial service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. on Feb. 18.

He leaves a son, Gene Williams of Memphis; three brothers, Elven Dean Raimey of Lamar, Elder Larry Raimey (Mary) of Chicago, Ill., Elder Keith Hughes (Tychin) of Pearland, Texas; six sisters, Rosie M. Crutcher of Holly Springs, Delois Briggs (Lawrence), Idella Raimey, both of Lamar, Ruby Echols of Olive Branch, Georgia Raimey of Memphis, and Dianne Hughes of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Raimey Jr. and Lorine Gatewood Raimey; three brothers, Willie C. Raimey, Henry Lee Raimey, John Allen Raimey; and one sister, Gerlean Raimey Finley.
