Lee Andrew Hicks

Lee Andrew “Smooth” Hicks, 58, of Holly Springs, died July 13, 2017. He was a member of Hopewell #2 MB Church and a 1976 graduate of Holly Springs High School. He was the owner of Smooth’s Plumbing and Electric, Heating and Air.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on July 21 at New Dimension Salt & Light Ministries. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Rev. A. Allen and Pastor Danny Kimbrough officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a special friend of 21 years, his fiancée Ella Pete; two sons, Jeffery Jones, Piearro (Leatrice) Howell; a daughter, Shalonda Howell; two brothers, Leroy (Mary) Hicks, Willie (Mary) Hicks; nine sisters, Lillian Brooks, Rubye Bailey, Addie Boga, Lavern (Alfred) Zinn, Charlene Moore, Arlene Wicks, Margaret H. (Charles) McDonald, Katie H. (Billy) Autry, Ruthie (Elester) Gatewood; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Autry Hicks Jr., James Wright (Gene Autry) and two sisters, Phillistines and Sandra.
