Lecester "Bomb" Holbert Jr.

Lecester "Bomb" Holbert Jr., 55, of Lamar, died Dec. 30, 2020. He was a member of Miracle Temple Salt and Light Ministries in Lamar and a guitarist for several churches and singing groups. He was a retired farmer.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 6, 2021, at Jeffries Family Cemetery in Lamar. Elder Broderick Holbert officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a son, Lecester "Jarvis" Duncan of Memphis, Tenn.; mother, Marjorie Jeffries Knox of Lamar; four sisters, Judy Collins of Lamar, Marilyn Medley of Chicago, Ill., Dinetta Karriem of Columbus, Christina Holbert of Chicago; four brothers, Derrick Holbert of Marion, Ark., Alvin Jeffries of Lamar, Broderick Holbert of Atlanta, Ga., and Christopher Holbert of Chicago
