Le Andrew Evans

Le Andrew Evans, 65, of Holly Springs, died April 21, 2024, at his home. He was a member of Hernando Road Church of Christ and retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 26 from 3-6 p.m. and on April 27 at Hernando Road Church of Christ from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Brother David Shipp will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his daughters, Taquita Adams of Memphis, Tenn., Chernanda Shipp of Olive Branch; sons, Le Andrew Evans Jr. of Potts Camp, Cecil Lester of Jackson, Tenn.; sisters, Mary Young of Holly Springs, Maud Mason of Ashland, Queen Crawford of Olive Branch, Renell Harris, Sandra Webster, both of Holly Springs; brothers, Hosie B. Evans of Holly Springs, Mac Arthur Evans of Collierville, Tenn., C.W. Evans of Ashland, Timothy Evans of Holly Springs, Bobby Evans of Red Banks, Percy Evans of Ashland; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Aliyah Evans; father, Percy L. Evans Sr.; mother, Atlean Hampton Harris; siblings, Robert Lee Evans and Jerry B. Evans.
