Lassie Talley Jones

Lassie Talley Jones, 71, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 22, 2018, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven. The widow of Joseph Linton Jones, she was a member of Isom Chapel CME Church, where she was a church stewardess. She was a graduate of Sand Flat/H.W. Byers High School. She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 30 at Isom Chapel CME Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Michael Adams officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Silva (Antiwoine) McKinnie of Holly Springs; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Linnie and Linton Jones; five brothers, Leroy Talley, Levi Talley, Willie Talley, Joe Talley Jr., and David Talley; and one sister, Flora Bagley.
