Larry "Stanley" Pryor

Larry "Stanley" Pryor, 65. of Byhalia, died February 16, 2023, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Roberts Chapel CME Church in Coldwater and was retired from Memphis Furniture.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on Feb. 24 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 25 at Roberts Chapel CME Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He leaves three sons, Rodney Jackson (Lashiek) of Holly Springs, Marquiz Pryor of Senatobia, Justin Pryor of Byhalia; one daughter, Monica Pryor of Olive Branch; two brothers, Chester Sesson of Washington, DC, Barry Pryor (Jerri) of Woodstock, Ga.; seven sisters, Queen Esther Dean of St. Louis, Mo., Louise Richmond of Chicago, Ill., Remal Boyd of Coldwater, Kathy Thomas (James) of Woodstock, Fnesa Newson (Whitt), Nancy Sesson, both of Coldwater, Dena Kay Phillips of Memphis, Tenn.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean Newson and Tessie Mae Pryor Sesson; four brothers, Billy Wayne Sesson, Calvin Pryor, Joseph Garret, Lee Edward Newson; three sisters, Alice Joyce Kimbrough, Dorothy Dandridge and Annie Williams.
