Larry Donnell Pointer

Larry Donnell Pointer, 71, of Holly Springs, died March 4, 2025, at his home. He was the owner of Pointer's Construction.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 15 from 3-5 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on March 16 at Baptist Hill MB Church Cemetery in Potts Camp.

He leaves his daughters, Marquita Duncan, Margaret Jones, both of Holly Springs; sons, Larry Porter of Columbus, Ohio, Larry Pointer Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., Antwone Porter of Toledo, Ohio, Keith of Abbeville; sisters, Bernandette Watkins of Aurora, Ill., Cynthia Thompson of Memphis, Tenn., Melita Johnson of Aurora; brothers, Percy Mayfield of Chicago, Ill., Darryl Thompson, Gregory Thompson, both of Memphis; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Porter Pointer; daughter, Kelly Ingram; and son, Patrick Plaxico.
