Larrie Hubbard

Larrie Hubbard, 74, of Bedford Heights, Ohio, formerly of Holly Springs, died Sept. 4, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio, a U.S. Army veteran, graduate of Mississippi Industrial College, W.T. Sims High School. He taught at Franklin D. Roosevelt Middle School, was a football coach, mathematics teacher and track coach at Glenville High School in Cleveland. He retired from Cleveland Metropolitan School.

Visitation will be held Sept. 13, from 5-7 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and Sept. 14 from 1:30-2:25 p.m. at Doxey Auditorium at Rust College. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Minister Agnes Henderson will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Gwendolyn Jean Pinson Hubbard; a daughter, Laticia Hubbard of Euclid, Ohio; a brother, Curtis Hubbard of Holly Springs; and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Hubbard.
