Laniel “Lanny” F. Oswalt, 71, of Holly Springs, died May 26, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Air National Guard 182nd Airlift Wing, Peoria, Ill., in 1999.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on June 2 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries with burial in Hill Crest Cemetery. Minister Craig Williamson officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Grace Oswalt; two sons, Lanny Oswalt of Chicago, Ill., Lyndon Oswalt of Morton, Ill.; a daughter, Lalanya Oswalt of Holly Springs; a brother, Richard Oswalt (Venitia) of Cary, Ill.; a sister, Debra Dutton (Archie) of Armore, Okla. and six grandchildren.
