Kenneth Duane Beller Jr.
Kenneth Duane Beller Jr., 76, died Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born on December 29, 1946, in Portland, Oregon to the late Kenneth Duane Beller Sr and Carol Sue Dennis. He is a United States Army Veteran and served his country honorably as a Specialist 5 in the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. He also received Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. He went on to the Pacific Railroad where he retired as a foreman after 25 years. He was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Beller Sr., and Carol Sue Dennis; two brothers, Rocky Scalf and Charles Millard Lawrence.
He leaves three brothers, Victor Beller, Gregory Withrow Tremaine, and Donald Withrow.
A funeral service was held on July 12, at 12:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at Brantley Funeral Home, in Olive Branch. Burial followed at West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn.
