Kenneth Adrain Rose
Kenneth Adrain Rose, 101, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 2, 2017 in Holly Springs. The widower of Mary Florence Rose, he was a Navy veteran of World War II and a painter for most of his life. He was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Holly Springs.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 5 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hill Crest Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Dalton officiated.
He leaves a son, Kenneth (Rixie) Rose of Red Banks, two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Rose; a great-great-granddaughter, Anabella Rose; four brothers, Melville, Irvin, Glenn and Gerald; and a sister, Gladys Rose Jones.
Pallbearers were Richard Akins, Larry Whisenant, Eddie Lafever, Johnny Lafever, Doug Teel and Colter Teel.
