Kelsey Lee Malone

Kelsey Lee Malone, 65, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Laws Hill, died Jan. 17, 2020, at V.A. Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a former member of New Hope MB Church in Laws Hill, and a member of Local 1784 Memphis Firefighters Union. He was a fireman for the Memphis Fire Department.

Visitation will be held on Jan. 24 from 2-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and on Jan. 25 from 10-10:55 a.m. at Doxey Auditorium at Rust College. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Bessie Tables will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope MB Church Cemetery in Laws Hill.

He leaves his wife, Berdean Washington Malone; two sons, Bobby Rowzee of Laurel, Justin Malone of Memphis; one sister, Cheryl Malone Washington of Memphis; two brothers, Kenneth Malone of Memphis; Travis Malone of Jackson; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Amanda Ingram Malone; a sister, Shelia Malone; brothers, Malcolm Malone, Lawrence Malone and James Roland Malone.
