Katina Marie Bowen Tallie

Katina Marie Bowen Tallie, 44, of Lamar, died March 4, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. She was a member of Royston Chapel CME Church in Benton County, a former Sunday school teacher at Samuel Chapel MB Church in Ashland. She also attended Samuel Chapel. She was a former assembly line lead person for ECO Water System in Ripley.

Visitation will be March 9 from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home, and at the church on March 10 from 10-10:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on March 10 at Samuel Chapel MB Church in Ashland with burial in Royston Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Potts Camp. Rev. Rickey Ball will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Sterlin Tallie; two children, Devin Tallie, Nicholas Tallie, both of Lamar; her mother, Betty Gray Bowen of Potts Camp; her father, Dempsey Lee Bowen of Waterford; three sisters, Ladaha Judge of Benton County, Kim Campbell of Memphis, Tenn., Tonya Turner of Holly Springs; and eight brothers, Kelvin Lewis, Jeffrey Lewis, both of Benton County, Carl Lewis of Potts Camp, Dempsey Bowen of New Albany, Duffie Bowen of Springfield, Mo., Gary Lewis of Ripley, Danny Hankins of Holly Springs and Douglas Bowen of Aurora, Ill.
