Katie Mae Bean Nunnally Brown

Katie Mae Bean Nunnally Brown, 77, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 15, 2018, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. The widow of Bruce Edward Nunnaly Sr. and Jasper Brown Jr. she was a member of Adolphus Chapel CME Church where she was an usher, in the choir and a church missionary. She was a retired cook from Alliance HealthCare System.

Visitation will be held Dec. 20 from 1-6 p.m., at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and on Dec. 21 from 1-1:55 p.m. at Adolphus Chapel CME Church with services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Billy Williams will officiate.

She leaves four children, Xavier (Denean) Nunnally of Portsmouth, Va., Toni Nunnally of Clarksville, Tenn., Rose Nunnally of Starkville, Sharon (Derrick) Mitchell of Holly Springs; three sisters, Lucille Stewart, Mary Alice Elliott, Odessa Hughes, all of Holly Springs; two brothers, Rayford Bean of Charlotte, N.C., Andrew Bean of Lake Center; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Wright and Catherine Bean.
