Katie Irene Lane Groce, 80, of Michigan City, died July 17, 2017. She was the widow of Robert J. Groce.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 29 at Sims Chapel MB Church in Michigan City. Burial was in the church cemetery. Elder Calvin Rhyan officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves five sisters, Jackie Lane Cannon, Mary Ann Lane Williams, Sandrew Lane Harden Riley, Jacqueline M. Rhyan (Calvin), Loisteen Preston; three brothers, Oscar Lane Jr., Arthur Lane (Dorothy), Julius Lane (Adrienne) and her caregiver, Annie Hudson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ira J. Lane.
