Joyce Ann Trask

Joyce Ann Trask, 83, of Holly Springs, formerly of Natchez, died January 21, 2026, in Cordova, Tenn., under hospice care. She was a member of Isom Chapel CME Church where she serviced as a church missionary. She as a member a Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and a retired education with the Adams County School System.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 31 from 12:30-3 p.m. and on Feb. 1 at Isom Chapel CMe Church from 12-12-55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Michael Adams will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Earnest Trask; godson and caregiver, Chris Barnes of Cordova; stepdaughter, Monique Trask of Southaven; caregiver and nephew, Justin Gatewood of Collierville, Tenn.; and brother, Lafayette "Skipper" Gatewood of Slayden.
