Josie Lene Malone

Josie Lene Malone, 64, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 27, 2021, at her home. She was a member of Mt. Newell MB Church in Red Banks where she served on the mother's board and usher board. She was a former cashier at Walmart in Holly Springs.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 4 from 1:30-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on March 5 at Mt. Newell Memorial Garden in Red Banks. Pastor Terry Smith will officiate.

She leaves two children, Tamerra Reliford of Byhalia, Tamekia Malone of Horn Lake; five sisters, Channie Grimes, Virginia Ivy of Southaven, Mable Lester of Corinth, Earlene Hearn of Holly Springs, Deneice Finley of Grand Prairie, Texas; and one granddaughter.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Ezekiel Malone and Magnolia Stockard Malone; three brothers, Joseph Richmond, Ezekiel Malone Jr. and Eugene Malone.
