Joseph Smith

Joseph Smith, 92, of Holly Springs, formerly of Kansas City, Mo., died August 21, 2024, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He was a member of New Beginning Church and retired from Frank's Metal Company in Kansas City.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on August 28 from 3:30-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on August 29 at Hamilton Chapel Church Cemetery in Waterford. Rev. Henry Brown will officiate.

He leaves his daughters, Mary Underwood, Carolyn Dobbs, both of St. Louis, Mo., Joyce Bowens of Waterford, Delephine Marshall of Norfolk, Va.; sons, Lee Autry Smith of Kansas City, Joseph Smith Jr. of Waterford; several grand, great- and greatgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ivory Lewis Smith; siblings, Lee Curtis Smith, James Willie Smith and Eddie Smith.
