Joseph Norvis “Pap” Jones

Joseph Norvis “Pap” Jones, 75, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died May 30, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. He was a former member of Mt. Moriah MB Church and a warehouse dock worker.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on June 3 at Mt. Moriah MB Church Cemetery. Minister Linda Terry officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two daughters, Enna Bush of Memphis, Cheree Cole of Red Banks; one son, Gary Jacobs of Memphis; one sister, Christine McGarr of Old Hickory, Tenn.; and one brother, Lenon Jones of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Louis Jones; and five brothers, L.C. Jones, Lawrence Jones, Charles Lee Jones, Eddie Lee Jones and Willie Edward Jones.
