Jonathan "Joe Nathan"Hughes

Jonathan "Joe Nathan" Hughes, formerly of Holly Springs, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisc.

He was born on May 6, 1946 to the late John Hughes and Lucy Craine Hughes of Holly Springs, Miss.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Mary Nolen Hughes; son, James Nolen; granddaughter; two grandsons; greatgranddaughter; four brothers, John Lee "Buddy" Hughes, Joshua "Josh" Hughes, Joe Louis Hughes, Nathan Hughes; two sisters, Mary B. Dowdy and Annie E. Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters, Jacqueline Nolen, Gloria Hughes, Simonia Lisa Hughes, Terri Hughes; two sons, Simone Hughes, Jonathan Hughes Jr.; one brother, Jasper Hughes; three sisters, Lucy A. Boyd, Susie Vaughn of Holly Springs, Lillian Davis (George) of Friendswood, Texas; one aunt, Roxie Holloway of Holly Springs; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends, who love him dearly.

Viewing was at Pitts Funeral Home with graveside services and interment at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisc.
