Johnny LeRoy Hughes Jr., 45, of Lamar, formerly of Grand Junction, Tenn., died December 28, 2024, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland. He was a member of St. Luke MB Church in Rossville, Tenn. and a fork lift operator.
Services were held at Finley Grove MB Church in Holly Springs on Jan. 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. Rev. Michael Ryhan officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his mother, Margaret Ree Ford Hughes of Lamar; sisters, LaChandra Hughes of Lamar and Shondale Glanton of Atlanta, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie LeRoy Hughes.
