Johnnie Ree Anderson Johnson

Johnnie Ree Anderson Johnson, 70, of Holly Springs, died October 11, 2023, at her home. She was a member of Anderson Chapel CME Church where she served as a missionary and an usher. She served on the Habitat board and was a retired deputy clerk with the Marshall County Court system.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Oct. 20 from 3-6 p.m. and on Oct. 21 at Anderson Chapel CME Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Johnny Poole will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves a daughter, Jametra Bagley of Holly Springs; son, Gregory L. Bagley II of Tupelo; mother, Madora Anderson of Holly Springs; sister, Veronica Evans of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, David Anderson of Etta, Arnold Keith Anderson of Holly Springs, Henry Edward Anderson of Potts Camp; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell L. Johnson; father, Freeman James Evans; and sister, Sharon L. Jones.
