Johnnie Columbus Brown

Johnnie Columbus Brown, 73, of Olive Branch, formerly of Holly Springs, died Nov. 21, 2020, at Methodist Hospital of Olive Branch. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Holly Springs and a retired electrician for Carrier Corp.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 29 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Rev. Tony Wilkins officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Gladys Stevenson Brown; two daughters, Brenda Brown of Olive Branch, Joniqua Rahman of Holly Springs; one son, Kevin L. Brown of Holly Springs; three sisters, Ella Glover, Celestine Balfour, Johnnie Mae Jeffries, all of Holly Springs; three brothers, Lacey Brown, Darren Jones, both of Holly Springs, Elder Arthur Brown of Victoria; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James "June Cake" Brown Jr.
