John Wesley Smith

John Wesley Smith, 60, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 28, 2020, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was member of Apostolic Light House Church in Wyatte and a transportation supervisor at Marshall County Correctional Facility.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 5 from 3-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 6 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Pastor Terry Teddlie will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Sandra B. Driver Smith; a son, Johnston Driver Smith of Holly Springs; three daughters, Esperanza McKinnon, Alexsandra Smith Ramos, both of Moore, Okla, Rachel Anukam of Holly Springs; two sisters, Alice Thomas of Holly Springs, Pauline Sipp of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Statie Smith Jr., Albert Smith, both of Holly Springs; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Statie Sr. and Mamie Tunstall Smith; and a brother, Willie Lee Smith.
