John Robert Everett, 55, of Michigan City, died June 10, 2017, in Benton County. He was a member of Greenwood MB Church in Lamar.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on June 18 at Samuel Chapel MB Church in Ashland with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Rickey Ball officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves five sisters, Virginia (Larry) Davis, Coretta (Jerome) Curry, Laquita (Terry) Tanksley, Lakesia Strickland, all of Michigan City, Octavia (Jimmie) Hunt of Memphis, Tenn.; and three brothers, Perry Everett, Jimmy T. (Michelle) Strickland, Marcus Strickland, all of Corinth.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timmy Hoyle and a sister, Ruth Pearl.
