John Richard Gibbons, 61, of Waterford, died June 26, 2024. He was a truck driver for Shawn Davis Logging.
Visitation will be held at 12 noon on July 6 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with a memorial service at 2 p.m.
He leaves a daughter, Sarah Gibbons of Senatobia; sons, James R. Gibbons (Kacie), Daniel Gibbons, both of Potts Camp; mother, Ethelene Hulsey of Holly Springs; brothers, Steve Rodgers of Dukedom, Tenn., Paul Gibbons, Rod Hulsey and Richard Hulsey, all of Holly Springs; sister, Marsha Taylor (Ricky) of Holly Springs; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Shannon Gibbons; father, James Gibbons; sister, Kathy Esmon; and brother, Scottie Rodgers
