John Quintin "Knotball" Matthews

John Quintin "Knotball" Matthews, 41, of Ashland, died May 29, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Greenwood MB Church and was an auto mechanic and owner of Just Fix It Racing.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on June 17 from 3-6 p.m. and June 18 at Ashland High School Gymnasium from 1010:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Patrick Washington will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood MB Church Cemetery in Lamar.

He leaves his children, Jernarious Matthews, Johntavien Matthews, both of Ashland, Myleigh Grace Matthews of Biggersville; Minaya Cowan, Zyikeria Cowan, GH'Riyha Cowan, JaRylyn Cowan, Jacali Cowan, all of Holly Springs; parents, John "Cheese" Matthews and Michelle Matthews, both of Ashland; sister, Shametra Matthews of Ashland; brother, Terrance Matthews of Ashland; and fiance, Erica Cowan of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Randy "Snoody" Matthews.
