John Fitzgerald Wright

John Fitzgerald Wright, 58, of Senatobia, died March 1, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of Zion Hill Church Barr, and a business consultant.

Services were held at Zion Hill Church Barr on March 7 at 12 p.m. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rodgers Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Verna Dean Wright of Memphis; daughters, Jasmine Wright of Dallas, Texas, Katrasha Shree Mackey of Jackson, Tenn.; son, Charles Steven Hampton Jr. of Houston, Texas; mother, Helen Wright of Senatobia; sisters, Jeanette Wright of Olive Branch, Gylinda P. King of Holly Springs; brothers, Frank Wright of Como, Charles Wright of Senatobia, Hosea T. Wright of Olive Branch, Andre Wright of Senatobia; and three grandchildren.
