John E. "Sparky" Belfor Jr., 81, of Holly Springs, formerly of Kinlock, Mo., died October 26, 2024, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital.
He was a member of Grays Chapel CME Church and a retired educator and principal at Kinlock High School.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 1 from 3-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 at Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev., Dr. Leon C. Moore Jr. will officiate.
He leaves his daughters, Taundrea Boga of Holly Springs, Loretta Aldridge of Memphis, Tenn.; sons, Terrill Belfor, Jeremy Brown of Holly Springs; sister, Landry Hearn of Holly Springs; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Harris and brother, James Oliver Belfor.
