John D. Peterman, 78, of Potts Camp, died October 21, 2025, at his home. He was a truck driver, machine operator and a U.S. Army veteran.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Olivetta Sue Wubker Peterman; sons, Scott Dennis Thornton (Bridgett) of Rushville, Ill., Andrew Francis Thornton (Laura) of Canton, Ill., Charles Richard Robson (Kim) of Maxwell, Idaho, James Robert Robson (Melissa) of Hernando; daughter, LeAnn Tessire (Tony) of Kewanne, Ill.; brother, Michael Allen Peterman of Greenbay, Wisc.; sisters, Carolyn Sue Zerifus (Mike) of Arenzville, Ill., Karen Huffman (Bobby) of Litteton, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
