Jo Ann Golden Buggs

Jo Ann Golden Buggs, 75, of Michigan City, died April 27, 2022, at Methodist Germantown Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. She was a member of Hardaway MB Church where she served on the mother's board. She was retired from Carrier Inc. in Collierville, Tenn.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 5 from 3-6 p.m. and May 6 at Hardaway MB Church from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Minister Willie Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Izear "Dike" Buggs; sons, Ronald Buggs, Bruce Edward Buggs both of Michigan City, Kevin Buggs of Cordova, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Tyhondia Boyd of Ripley; stepson, Lorenzo Valentine of Grand Junction, Tenn.; sisters, Patricia Hunt, Janice Tisdale, Delois Golden, Marion Hunt, all of Grand Junction; brothers, Willie James "Bob" Golden, Michael Golden, both of Grand Junction, Robert Golden of Collierville, John Golden of Bolivar, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Early Golden, Emmitt Golden Jr., Mary Effie Ruckes, Billie Jean Golden and Althea Chers.
