Jimmy Simpson, 92, of Hickory Flat, died October 23, 2021, at his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hickory Flat, a specialist for Northwest Inventory and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 27 at First Baptist Church of Hickory Flat. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Earlene Childers Simpson and her five children; his son, Larry Simpson (Pam) of Senatobia; his daughter, Lynn Thompson of Olive Branch; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Farr Simpson.
