Jimmy Rooker, 78, of Hickory Flat, died Aug. 3, 2018. The widower of Norma Kirk Rooker, he was a Baptist and a timber woodsman.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 6 at Hickory Flat Baptist Church. Burial was in McKay Cemetery in Hickory Flat. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves a daughter, Tammy Hogue of Hickory Flat; a sister, Sharon Crumpton of Ingomar; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Rooker.
