Jimmie Lee Smith

Jimmie Lee Smith, 84, of Grand Junction, Tenn., formerly of Benton County, died Dec. 26, 2016. A construction cement finisher and mason, he retired from Cement Masons’ Local 627 in 1995.

Services were held Jan. 2 at Hardaway MB Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Dr. Gerald Thomas officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his children, Vanessa Gillion (Ronald), Fannie Dell Harris (Timothy), Mary Elizabeth Anderson (Rick), Clifton Williams (Patricia) and Bobby Riley; a brother, John Edward Smith (Melberter); a sister, Argina Richardson (Lenard); 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Coble; brothers, A.Z. and Eddie B. Smith; and two sons, Charles and Demetris Williams.
