Jimmie Lee Hunt

Jimmie Lee Hunt, 69, of Memphis, Tenn., died Dec. 3, 2019. He was a member of Union Hill MB Church, attended Old Salem High School and worked in Memphis until his retirement.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 8, at Mount Bethel MB Church in Walnut. Minister Otis Shaw officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Octavia Hunt; three daughters, Pamela Hunt, Cherlando Hunt, Yurea (Polk) Hunt, all of Memphis; brothers, Bobby Shaw, Victor Shaw, Dennis Hunt, Otis Shaw, James Hunt, Earl James, Leon Hunt, Willie Smith, O.C. Smith; sisters, Brenda Shaw, Francine Whitson, Sharon Buie, Arlean Hammer, Pauline Jones, Mary Hunt, Dorothy Turner; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Hunt.
