Jim Ellis Higgenbottom

Jim Ellis Higgenbottom, 93, of Coldwater, died May 10, 2023. He was a social worker and teacher's assistant. He was a member of Hopewell MB Church where he served on the mother board, and was a Sunday school teacher.

Services were held at Hopewell MB Church in Coldwater on May 17 at 11 a.m. Burial was in Fredonia MB Church Cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his daughters, Palestine Dean of Byhalia, Turessa Knox of Coldwater, Bobbie Knox of Memphis, Tenn.; sons, Bryant Higgenbottom, Louis Higgenbottom, Curtis Higgenbottom, all of Coldwater, Gary Higgenbottom, Rodger Higgenbottom, Nocange Higgenbottom, Lucious Higgenbottom, Hoover Higgenbottom, all of Memphis; brother, Walter (WH) Rodgers Sr.; 40 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and seven greatgreat-grandchildren.
