Jewel Ann Jones Palmer
Jewel Ann Jones Palmer, 75, of Holly Springs, died August 9, 2021, at Diversity Care of Ripley. She was a member of Providence MB Church in Holly Springs where she was a member of the mother's board and the church choir. She was a cook at Short Stop.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 13, at Concord MB Church Cemetery in Slayden. Evangelist Linda Faye Moore officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves three daughters, Mary Moore of Ashland, Annie Gray of Blue Mountain, Shantavis Williams of Pontotoc; two sons, Lawrence Stephens Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., Rodney Dewayne Stephens of Lamar; three sisters, Arlene Gorman of Slayden, Annie Bell Bradford, Vurun Bonaparte both of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Andrew L. Jones of Milwaukee, Wisc., Kelse Fitzpatrick of Memphis; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Palmer; son, Eddie James Stephens; and daughter, Linda Kaye Jenkins.
