Jessica Shrunda Waller-Rooks

Jessica Shrunda Waller-Rooks, 35, of Byhalia, died Aug. 1, 2020, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Fellowship Ministries COGIC in Holly Springs where she was a church announcer, church usher, choir member, and member of Pastor's Aide committee. She was a homecare specialist for Ability Works Inc.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 9 at Bowen Cemetery in Holly Springs. Superintendent Will Merriweather officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Willie DeMario Rooks; two sons, Jamarius S. Rooks, Jaylan D. Rooks, both of Byhalia; a daughter, Amaria M. Rooks of Byhalia; mother, Brenda Waller of Holly Springs; father, Larry D. Hudson of Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers, Kelvin M. Waller, Jermaine K. Waller, both of Holly Springs, Courtney Bean of Lamar.
