Jerry Lee Byers

Jerry Lee Byers, 62, formerly of Holly Springs, died December 5, 2021, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, Ga. He was a member of Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Chulahoma and was employed at Briarwood Housing Complex. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Services were held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 15 at Royal Funeral Home Chapel in Jesup.
He leaves his wife of 32 years, Ann Byers; two children, Brenitra Byers, J.B. Byers; brothers, Bernard, Charles, Bernie (Paula), Jerry and Randy Shaw; sisters, Georgia King, Bernice Walton (Lawrence), Cheryl Pegues, Gwendolyn Byers, Loretta Shaw, Ruby Lee Shaw; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Josephine Byers; brothers, Sylvester Byers and Johnny Byers Jr.
