Jerry Clayton Jr.

Jerry Clayton Jr., 64, of Byhalia, died Oct. 13, 2019, at his home. He was a graduate of Byhalia High School and was a disabled factory worker.

Visitation will be held on Oct. 20, from 2-5 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and Oct. 21 from 11-11:55 a.m. at Union Valley MB Church in Byhalia. Services will be held at 12 noon. Pastor Joe Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove MB Church Cemetery in Red Banks.

He leaves his wife, Rose Clayton of Holly Springs; daughter, Colletta Spears of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Larondo Spears and Trevor Clayton of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Brodie Westbrook and Sylvia Sharp, both of Memphis, Doris Medlock of Pontiac, Mich., Sherba Hinton (Henry) of Moss Point; two brothers, Phillip Clayton of Memphis, Roger Clayton (Jan) of Byhalia.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Esthell Clayton; his parents, Jerry Clayton Sr. and Pennie Tunstall Clayton.
