Janie Dickson Brisco

Janie Dickson Brisco, born December 15, 1948, in Ecru, MS, passed away on September 10, 2023, in her home after a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Brisco; two sons, Craig (Karen), Kyle (Richele); and sister, Sheryl German (Frank). She had six grandchildren, Chase (Paige), Cole (Sara), Cannon, Blake, Emma Brisco and Lexie Villamil. She had three great-grandchildren, Grayson, Kennedy, and Hudson Brisco; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Boren; her father, William Dickson; a sister, Betty Smith; two brothers, Kenith and Brooks Dickson.

Her passion was her family and cooking. All who knew her knew her loving spirit and dedication to family.

Her celebration of life will be held at Temperance Hill Baptist Church, Potts Camp, MS, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Bro. Philip Brock will be officiating.
