Janice Jean Walker

Janice Jean Walker, 70, of Holly Springs, died May 9, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a member of Hamilton Chapel CME Church where she served as church treasurer and on the usher board. She was a retired educator from Holly Springs High School.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 16 from 6:30-8 p.m. and on May 17 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert Odum will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves a son, Jaquis Jarmonz Walker of Holly Springs; sisters, Elaine Williams of Holly Springs, Willie Jean King (Danny) of Chicago, Ill., Beverly Walker of Fair Chance, Penn., Mary E. Collie (Raymond) of Houston, Texas, Denise Walker of Mason Township, Penn.; brothers, Delois "Blade" Walker of Memphis, Tenn., Charles Walker (Cathy) of Holly Springs; and two gandchildren.
