Janet Sue Work Whaley, 67, of Potts Camp, died Mar. 22, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a school teacher in Mississippi and Tennessee for 40 years.
Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. on Mar. 28 at Salem Baptist Cemetery in Potts Camp. Bro. Randy Bynum officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband, Jimmy Whaley; son, Seth Whaley of Potts Camp; brother, Steve Work of Potts Camp; two sisters, Doris Smith of Holly Springs, and Pat Work of Potts Camp.
