James Willie Ford Sr.

James Willie Ford Sr., 86, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 12, 2020, at his home. He was a member of Finley Grove MB Church, founder and member of the Twilight Singers for over 50 years. He was a retired maintenance worker for Natchez Trace Railroad.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 19 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries in Holly Springs. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two daughters, Joyce Brown of Holly Springs, Margaret Hughes of Collierville, Tenn.; three sons, William James Ford, John L. Ford, Carlos M. Ford, all of Holly Springs; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ford and Maxine Scott Fant; a daughter, Carolyn M. Ford; a son, James Willie Ford Jr.; and a sister, Florence Hankins.
