James Troy Stowell

James Troy Stowell, 59, of Hickory Flat, died July 7, 2017, in Hickory Flat. He was a police officer.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on July 11, at Center Hill Baptist Church in Counce, Tenn. Burial was in Center Hill Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Lisa Stowell; six sons, Jason Owen, James Troy Stowell Jr., both of Memphis, Tenn.,Thomas Hardin, Ian Hardin (Ashley), all of Lakeland, Jacob Stowell (Katelyn) of Batesville, Shane Stowell of Hickory Flat; three daughters, Misty Cook of West Memphis, Ark., Katie Lindsey (Nick) of Ripley, Erica Stowell of Batesville; three brothers, Thomas Stowell of Corinth, Bud Stowell of Crump, Tenn., Brian Stowell, of Virginia; a sister, Frances Webb of Savannah, Tenn.. and 12 grandchildren.
