James Taylor Gipson

James Taylor Gipson, 86, of Lamar, died February 8, 2022, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was a member of Mt. Teamer CME Church and worked in construction and was a farmer.

Visitation will be held at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home on Feb. 18 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 19 at Hudsonville Life Center in Holly Springs. Burial will be in Hudsonville CME Church Cemetery.

He leaves his children, Clifford Gipson (Gwen), James Tyrone Gipson (Debra), Charita Gipson, Cameka "Tonia" Woods; five brothers, Winston (Janice), Herman (Liz), Sherman (Carol), LaSalle and Harvey Gipson (Joan); eight sisters, Leora Glendel (Jessie), Alleda, Ruth, Ezzie, Edith, Eunice, Laura; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and five great-greatgrandchildren.
