James Tate Roberson, 79, of Ashland, died October 12, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He was a diesel mechanic.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 16 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
He leaves his wife, Mary Nell Wilburn Roberson; son, Michael Roberson (Michelle) of Ashland; daughters, Sherri Rogers (Joe Keith) of Ashland, Lisa Sims (Terrell) of New Albany; brothers, Larry Roberson of Ashland, Glynn Roberson of Ripley; sister, Carolyn Whaley of Sardis; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Roberson and a grandson, Kody Rogers.
