James A. Smith Jr., 72, of Red Banks, died December 19, 2021. He was a truck driver and a U.S. Marine veteran.
Visitation will be held on Dec. 23 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Carey Chapel Cemetery in Red Banks.
He leaves his wife, Brenda Smith; two sons, Milton Clay Smith Sr. (Melissa), John Smith (Rachel) both of Red Banks; daughter, Janie Langston (Brian) of Red Banks; father, James Smith Sr. of Holly Springs; two brothers, Roy Smith, Billy Joe Smith; three sisters, Joann Bullard, Jan Taubken, Pat Maroney; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James A. Smith III; his mother, Gladys Shelton; and brother, Donald Ray Smith.
